Proposals Are An ‘Unconstitutional Overreach’, According To Off-Patent Trade Group

Minnesota is the latest US state to find itself facing generic drug trade group the Association for Accessible Medicines in court, after the organization filed a lawsuit alleging that its new drug pricing legislation is unconstitutional.

The US Association for Accessible Medicines has filed a lawsuit against Minnesota attorney general Keith Ellison, requesting that the federal district court in Minnesota prevent the attorney general from enforcing new legislation that the AAM says will give the state unprecedented powers to regulate the national pharmaceutical market.
